DIY leakdown tester from random parts in garage

Figured I'd post it here, if anyone is interested?

Had just about everything, only thing I need to buy something will be the hose going to cylinder.
Hammered out an old plug to use.

Had all this stuff already



on epoxy to dry for the restriction dealio, even have the #60 drill bit.




Some form of hose will be between these 2, maybe a grease gun hose?




There may be enough meat in plug to tap/thread...of course I have everything BUT a 1/4" NPT tap

So assembled and sudo tested, appears to function as expected.



And rather than trying to mess around and tapping the pieces I decided to just weld them together.
Now I just need a short hose, and it's done.

So possibly complete? Definitely functional. Shortest hose I could find was 3' now. I'll have to search eBay and online for something shorter.

Here is the final product, cost was under ~$10, but I had just about everything to build in the garage already.
