we bought a new frigidaire 10 years ago. first thing we cooked boiled over. oven never worked that good. uneven temps. about a year ago i found the igniter half melted,it was hit or miss on lighting it,hence the uneven temps. works good now,for a junk frigidaire.

Yeah...this one is @ least 13 years old...came with the house when we bought it.
Looks like parts will be under $100 to fix it.

Our electric range is a flat top that is 9 years old. The glass top cracked a few weeks back. It costs almost $400 to replace. We're replacing it with a gas range. I'll need to run the pipe from the main line and up through the floor, but i'll have a nicer stove that doesn't burn stuff as easy with the LP.

Got the part(s) today a day early even! Gotta love sellers who ship right away. Anyway the thing heated up to ~400* in like 14 minutes. Used to take FOREVER like 25-30 minutes, and would sometimes give an overtemp error. Happy Happy Joy Joy
