Scored an EFILIVE tuner for $700...new they're $899 Getting closer. Motor should be back together next week, on parts. Hopefully fire it up soon after...sick of looking @ my poor leaky '88 just sitting in the driveway w/ expired tags.

Progress...slow...but still some anyway. Need a starter, and a few misc. bolts still, but soon it will run. Whether or not coolant leaks from the crack in the block soon will be known. Hopeful, but with my luck it's 'prolly junk and will need to find a replacement.

You have all the wiring diagrams? I could possibly make you up a fuse block?

Oooh, ooh, me too, me too! I cannot imagine an LT1 harness is hard? I'll dig around and see what I can find out, probably similar to the LSx harness.

It's not too hard. Just tedious like electrical often is. I don't like tedious, the main reason I didn't stay in the auto body school I went to right out of high school. LT1swap.com has all the info on how to do it from simple make it run to keeping it all factory without the added bells and whistles that the B bodies were equipped with.

In for the stand build. Welding is (usually) fun.

Here is the engine cradle mated to the run stand base. Now I can work on the cooling, fuel, and battery/electrical stuff.

New fuel tank/pump setup courtesy of an old boat tank, and the pump setup from the craptastic roadmaster pos wagon. Gonna try and fire the LS soon, will also be using the run stand for the LT1 soon-ish. That one is close, just on a few parts. Then a harness rewire for the 24x conversion stuff. I may beat the 1yr landmark on that engine rebuild? Soooo want to finish the thing! With any luck be driving the wagon, and terrorizing small children this summer

Got a little bit done past couple days... Welded up a frame for misc. stuff I wanted. It got a gas tank shelf and a battery tray. Next up is a shelf for wiring, gauges, etc. A radiator mount needs to be figured out as well. Haven't decided on if I'm going to use a remote reservoir, or try and track down a cheap radiator w/ fill neck. Little more... Shelf, all welded up, quick coat of paint, bolted all together. Closer...
